Software Development Engineer II

Job Description

Design and build software for Blue Origin’s procurement platform and related supply chain and operations domains, including sourcing, inventory, manufacturing, quality, and invoicing. Improve software delivery and operational excellence through maintainable code, cloud monitoring and alerting, AI workflows, technical design reviews, and mentoring.

Requirements: A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field and at least two years of professional software development experience are required. Candidates should have experience incorporating modern AI/ML tools, proficiency with a cloud platform, and strong project management skills; preferred qualifications include deeper experience in cloud architecture, microservices, supply chain systems, data platforms, and AI/ML.
