Mechanical Engineer, Cooper Lighting Solutions

Job Description

Develop, design, test, and document mechanical systems, subsystems, and components from concept through product release, meeting customer, performance, and reliability requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve hardware designs, analyze system performance, apply current technologies, maintain project deliverables, and respond to customer support questions.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field and at least three years of experience in mechanical design and analysis for hardware innovation and electromechanical product development are required. Candidates should know material properties, industrial metals such as sheet metal and castings, and electronics; strong CAD skills are expected, SolidWorks is preferred, and SAP experience is a plus.
