Structural Engineer

Job Description

Conduct bridge inspections and prepare detailed reports, and design and analyze structural components for bridge projects. Prepare drawings, specifications, and cost estimates while coordinating with engineers and project managers, supporting clients, and ensuring work meets industry standards and PennDOT regulations.

Requirements: A bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and at least three years of structural engineering experience are required; Engineer-in-Training certification is required, while Professional Engineer certification is preferred. Candidates should have bridge inspection and design knowledge, proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Midas, and STAAD, and strong communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
