Municipal Civil Engineer

Job Description

Review subdivision, land development, zoning, and site plans for compliance, and design or assess grading, sewer, drainage, and stormwater systems. Prepare permits and construction documents, use AutoCAD and Civil 3D, coordinate with township officials and professional engineers, attend township meetings, and support field observations.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and at least five years of municipal engineering experience, with an active PE license or EIT status and intent to pass the PE exam soon. Candidates should have experience in plan and zoning reviews, site and utility design, stormwater and hydrology, environmental permitting, municipal applications, construction documentation, and AutoCAD/Civil 3D.
