Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description

Design and validate mechanical subsystems for custom equipment and facility upgrades, including structures, pressure vessels, piping, and process systems; prepare calculations, specifications, reports, drawings, and verification plans. Coordinate design reviews, procurement, fabrication, installation, and commissioning with internal teams, customers, vendors, and subcontractors, and contribute technical concepts and estimates to proposals.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or equivalent education and experience, plus at least five years of relevant mechanical or systems design experience. Candidates should have 3D CAD and FEA experience, knowledge of welded structures, fluid and process systems, pressure vessel and piping codes, fabrication methods, GD&T, and strong communication and project-management skills; domestic and international travel may be required, and applicants must meet applicable U.S. Person requirements.
