Power Engineer

Job Description

Design and model integrated generation, storage, and grid interconnection systems for data centers and other critical loads, including microgrids and backup power solutions. Conduct power system studies, ensure regulatory and standards compliance, coordinate with utilities and multidisciplinary teams, and prepare technical documentation and project proposals.

Requirements: Requires a degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline and at least five years of power systems engineering experience, preferably in renewable integration and grid interconnections. Candidates should have expertise in electrical systems, battery storage, inverters, data center power requirements, grid standards, and power modeling tools; a PE license, federal energy resilience experience, and familiarity with SCADA or DERMS are preferred.
