Staff Infrastructure Software Engineer

Job Description

Own and improve Carbon’s AWS and Google Cloud infrastructure, cloud-to-printer networking, Kubernetes and Istio platform, Terraform ecosystem, and CI/CD pipelines. Lead reliability and security initiatives, participate in on-call and incident response, and provide technical leadership and mentorship across teams.

Requirements: Requires seven or more years of experience operating production cloud infrastructure, deep expertise in AWS or Google Cloud with working proficiency in the other, and strong skills in networking, Terraform, Kubernetes, service meshes, and CI/CD. Candidates should have a production operations mindset, experience leading cross-team initiatives, strong communication and debugging skills, and a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
