Firmware Engineer

Job Description

Design and build software across embedded drivers, device communications, backend services, data pipelines, and operator interfaces for energy systems. Collaborate with hardware engineers and take features through design, deployment, field testing, commissioning, and validation at distributed sites.

Requirements: Candidates should have experience with systems programming languages such as C, C++, or Rust, a higher-level language such as Python or Go, and firmware or hardware-facing software for embedded targets. The role also requires hardware debugging skills, backend service and API experience, and the ability to work independently on ambiguous problems; familiarity with industrial protocols and grid-edge systems is preferred.
