Director of Engineering, Building Design

Job Description

Lead reviews of design deliverables, drawings, and specifications to ensure quality, identify omissions, and drive continuous improvement across projects. Manage project workloads and staffing, optimize resource use and productivity, and collaborate with discipline leads, project managers, clients, and other engineering managers.

Requirements: Requires at least 15 years of design and construction document production experience, including at least 7 years leading multidisciplinary design teams; healthcare or higher education experience is preferred, and Engineer of Record experience is required. Candidates need a PE license, a bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited institution, strong communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Bluebeam; a related master's degree is preferred.
