Forward Deployed Software Engineer - US Government

Job Description

Design, build, and deploy end-to-end software solutions for government customers, from system design and prototyping through application development and data integration. Work closely with customers and internal teams, iterating on solutions to address complex operational problems and deliver technical outcomes.

Requirements: Candidates should have a strong engineering background and demonstrated coding ability in languages such as Python, Java, C++, or TypeScript/JavaScript, along with familiarity with data systems, cloud infrastructure, and front-end frameworks. The role requires an active US security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one, residence in North Carolina, and willingness to travel; logistics, materiel, sustainment, aviation, or readiness analysis experience is a plus.
