Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Design, develop, integrate, and debug bare-metal Embedded C++ software for military avionics display systems, supporting the full lifecycle from requirements analysis through testing. Contribute to DO-178C verification, validation, certification documentation, and hardware integration while collaborating with systems, hardware, and test engineers.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least two years of Embedded C++ experience, and at least one year each in embedded development, bare-metal environments, DO-178C processes, DAL A or DAL B software, and hardware integration and debugging. Candidates should have safety-critical aerospace or avionics experience, strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills, and be willing to travel or rotate to Cedar Rapids; an active Secret clearance is listed as an additional skill.
