Sr. R&D Software Engineer

Job Description

Develop and review production-ready ROS-based C++ and Python software for Linux-powered robots, including designing scalable architectures and testing systems on live hardware. Lead and mentor engineers, improve development processes and SOPs, and support product releases through planning, field trials, and customer deployments.

Requirements: The role prefers a bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field and at least eight years of relevant experience. Candidates should have expert Linux, C/C++, Python, and ROS skills, experience delivering production software and using Agile, CI/CD, testing, containerization, and version control practices, and the ability to lead and mentor teams; long-term U.S. work eligibility without sponsorship is required.
