Staff Embedded Software Engineer - Avionics SW

Job Description

Own avionics subsystems end to end, delivering and maintaining flight- and safety-critical embedded Linux software, including drivers, real-time interfaces, fault management, and graceful degradation. Lead hardware-in-the-loop, bench, and field validation; build diagnostic and regression-testing tools; and resolve field incidents while coordinating integration and release criteria across engineering and operations teams.

Requirements: Requires substantial experience shipping production embedded software in C++ or Rust, embedded Linux expertise, and a track record in safety- or mission-critical systems with deterministic real-time requirements. Candidates should have hardware bring-up and debugging experience, end-to-end subsystem ownership, and a bachelor’s degree in EE/CS or equivalent experience; typically, five or more years in embedded or flight-critical systems is expected.
