Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

Design, develop, integrate, and maintain embedded C++ software for military avionics display systems on bare-metal platforms, supporting the full lifecycle from requirements through testing. Debug software on target hardware, collaborate with systems, hardware, and test engineers, and contribute to DO-178C verification, validation, and certification activities for DAL A or DAL B systems.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, at least two years of Embedded C++ experience, and at least one year each in embedded development, bare-metal environments, DO-178C, DAL A or DAL B software, and hardware integration and debugging. Candidates should have avionics or aerospace safety-critical experience, strong collaboration and troubleshooting skills, and be willing to travel or rotate to Cedar Rapids, Iowa; an active Secret Clearance is listed as an additional skill.
