Mechanical Designer

Job Description

Design and document complex mechanical assemblies using CAD, prepare engineering calculations and technical documentation, and support manufacturability through design improvements, prototypes, and collaboration with engineers. Guide and review designers’ and drafters’ work, uphold CAD and quality standards, coordinate project tasks, and monitor progress and operational issues.

Requirements: Requires a two-year degree in engineering or design and two years of mechanical design experience using Pro/E, Creo, SolidWorks, or comparable CAD tools. Candidates should have strong 3D modeling and drafting skills, knowledge of engineering practices, interchangeability and tolerance stack-up analysis, and the communication and coordination abilities needed to support project teams.
