Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Design and validate mechanical components and assemblies for commercial HVAC and fire suppression products, including developing new products, improving existing designs, and supporting cost-reduction initiatives. Coordinate small projects and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, suppliers, and other teams on sourcing, tooling, testing, product changes, documentation, and production or field troubleshooting.

Requirements: Requires a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field and 5–8 years of progressive mechanical design, product development, or hardware R&D experience. Candidates should be proficient in 3D CAD, engineering calculations, manufacturing processes, GD&T, material selection, and technical documentation; project leadership, NPI/NPD, value engineering, PLM, and HVAC product experience are preferred.
