Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

Perform structural and thermal finite element analyses and use the results to guide mechanical design decisions, tradeoffs, and improvements. Plan and conduct hardware tests, investigate failures, create detailed drawings, and collaborate with stakeholders, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to deliver reliable, production-ready robotics hardware.

Requirements: Requires at least eight years of applicable mechanical engineering experience, at least two years performing FEA, and a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related discipline. Candidates should be proficient with FEA and mechanical CAD tools, able to apply analysis to design decisions, and experienced with motors and actuators, drawings, testing, and self-directed work.
