As we grow, we are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician in Fairview Heights, IL.

The Engineering Technician will draft and create plans utilizing Revit and AutoCAD for mechanical, electrical and plumbing design. Projects may be a combination of new construction and renovations for schools, industrial buildings, aviation facilities, office buildings, and similar facilities. Our Engineering Technician will have a proven ability to work with and directly interact with cross-functional internal contacts to execute the required work, interact with the client staff in a professional and proactive manner to resolve issues, track progress, perform QA work associated with the requirements, make necessary corrections, and continually manage schedule and ensure quality.


•Prepare drawings pertaining to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and telecommunications and/or voice data for assigned projects
•Prepare and revise drawings in AutoCAD and Revit/BIM with minimal supervision and ensure all drawings comply with Woolpert and client standards
•Read/interpret MEP Drawings and enter data received in to appropriate software tools
•Create single line layouts, photometrics and markups
•Maintain project drawing files, file layering, drawing library, and associated records and documentation
•Finishes redlines and plans for submittal
•Complete tasks assigned by Engineer(s) in a timely manner to ensure deadlines are met

•Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in CAD, Construction Technology or similar field is preferred
•Minimum of 3 years of Engineering support or related experience
•Demonstrated knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit
•Able to graphically present information clearly and concisely
•Demonstrated ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
•Ability to provide excellent customer service
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment
•Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills
•Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment; offer constructive feedback and direction to support goals
