Lead Jewelry Research and Development Center (JRDC) engineering projects to assure on-time delivery and manufacturability of new product development. Collect, validate, analyze, apply and archive all product data management information. Collaborate with Design, Product Development, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing, Planning and others to ensure a unified and sustainable new product development channel. Lead implementation of engineering initiatives to improve the new product development process and its outputs.
•        Lead a cross-functional project team of Engineers, Model Makers, CAD Designers, and Quality Assurance to develop designs into fully manufacturable products.
•        Provide technical leadership related to general engineering and manufacturing, across JRDC and suppliers, ensuring execution and alignment between development and production.
•        Lead phase gated technical reviews, ensuring design verification/validation and alignment of Critical Requirement documentation, prototypes, CAD models and drawings and manufacturing requirements.
•        Oversee the accuracy and completion of project time-lines, CAD models and drawings, product and tooling estimated costs. Mitigate risk. Provide agile and effective problem solving, as required.
•        Accurately and expediently measure, collect, analyze, present and communicate data and comparative documents to support the design, prototype fabrication and transition to manufacturing of new product.
•        Take full ownership and make correct decisions, based on the appropriate level of information. Identifying and obtaining information, as needed.
•        Provide clear, consistent and timely project status updates detailing progress, issues/concerns and solutions.
•        Nurture a close working partnership with cross-functional colleagues to ensure that the design intent is expressed in the finished product.
•        System entry and verification of all product related data and project requirements, including but not limited to Bill of Material/Route, cost and work instructions, adhering to SOPs and best practices.

Required Qualifications
•        Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent, Mechanical preferred
•        Minimum 3 years of related work experience
•        Proficient in CAD (SolidWorks, Rhino, or equivalent)
•        Project and document management experience from concept to launch
•        Excellent communication skills: verbal, written and presentation
•        Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint)
•        Ability to work in a team atmosphere
•        Experience or training in statistical process analysis
•        Ability to understand, communicate and create technical manufacturing documentation
