Position Overview:
This position is responsible for identifying and presenting potential pipeline integrity process improvements and follow-through with implementation once stakeholder/management agreement for the improvement is obtained. You will champion process improvement for risk management, work with diverse groups in a collaborative manner to bring information together and be able to effectively communicate and describe the results of the risk analysis process. In this position, it is important for you to lead failure analysis, root cause analysis i.e. TapRoot and evaluation of system health, and provide recommendations to improve pipeline asset health through the application of techniques such as risk assessments, failure analysis, mitigation strategies and cathodic protection.

What You Will Be Responsible For:
•Importing, transforming, validating and modeling data with the purpose of understanding and drawing conclusions from data (may be presented in charts, graphs, and/or tables) using software such as IRAS, ACCESS, and Excel.
•Manage and input of information into risk models, understanding the risk algorithms, reviewing and confirming results, and utilizing the risk output. Strong understanding of likelihood and mitigation of consequences.
•Maintain, update and use data in GIS and Risk Analysis software to view, load validation data, assess data anomalies/inconsistencies, conduct assessment of pipelines and pipeline systems.
•Assist in the migration of historical integrity assessment project data and planned integrity project data from various legacy database systems into a single spatial project database
•Manage jurisdictional Pipeline risk using industry standards ASME B31.4, B31.8, B31.8S, API1160, API1173, and 49 CFR195 and 192.
•Codify integrity procedures and providing training on company processes and procedures
•Cyclic Fatigue Analysis, Stability Analysis for Manufacturing Threat, SCC Analysis
•Participate in pipeline audits and integrity management plan reviews

What You Will Need:

•Engineering Degree and 8—10 years pipeline integrity experience;at least 2 years of risk experience
•Experience with and good understanding of GIS concepts and their application to pipeline integrity management – with an emphasis risk assessment.
•Knowledge of PHMSA Part 192 regulations with knowledge of Subpart O Pipeline Integrity Regulations and knowledge of Part 195 Subpart F 195.452
