This right person will be responsible for running an efficient materials department by utilizing proper purchasing procedures & inventory control. Primary responsibilities include close coordination of materials allocation and flow to keep multiple field teams supplied. The success of our company depends greatly on the organization skills of the person in this position as timely materials flow is critical to field project success. Additional responsibilities include managing the process to ensure inventory is appropriate to meet customer demand while controlling obsolete and excess inventory both at the main facility and in field service vehicles.
Other Duties Include
-Manages the daily operations of the materials warehouse area ensuring a steady supply of parts, fuel, lubricants, shop & facility supplies, and safety equipment.
-Manage Field Fleet Vehicle Inventory.
-Identify opportunities for more economic materials procurement and other efficiencies.
-Material handling to process orders efficiently
-Warehouse design, organization and layout

-Two years of parts management experience is required.
-Ability to engage and motivate the team to achieve key goals
-Skilled in various computer programs. Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook is a plus
-Some metal fabrication a plus but not required.
