Technology and Service leader in Biomedical Equipment has immediate need for Engineering Manager. Will be responsible for overseeing all engineering and technician personnel involved with the service, repair, and preventive maintenance on diverse family of biomedical equipments. Will be responsible internal testing equipment, calibration stations, and other equipment needs of the department. Ensures technicians uphold designated turn times on repairs and production orders and provide training and leadership to all team members. Identify other areas for expansion, develop and implement training on repair procedures, identify opportunities for advancement. Develop and report key metrics from the floor to insure continued process improvement. Mentor key personnel for leadership roles within department, roadmap career growth opportunities within department. Be liaison between Engineering-Production & Sales, Customer Service, and Quality etc.
Requires Associates degree (BS degree preferred) in electronics / biomedical equipment technology. 5+ years related biomedical equipment experience as Technician (service-repair) and or Field Service, 3+ years management or supervisor experience to include proven leadership skills, experience managing a team/departments. Experience with PCB’s in troubleshooting, repairing, failure analysis. Ability to mentor, motivate, and build successful teams within growing department at all levels, good business sense.
