Job Description

●  Serve as a project manager and/or lead process engineer for engineering projects in the Hydroprocessing Catalyst & Technology Department.  Take the lead in process design, process flow diagrams and process and instrument drawing development, and hazardous operations reviews.

●  Be a technical expert in catalyst, kinetics, process design, and operation of hydroprocessing units.

●  Prepare technical catalyst and technology proposals and interface directly with perspective clients to help win project awards.

●  Perform kinetics and process modeling of hydroprocessing units.

●  Provide technical service to Hydroprocessing Catalyst & Technology Department clients by doing performance monitoring, data evaluation, start-up service, and on-site trouble-shooting in close cooperation with the key account managers and the technical service engineers.

●  Continuously innovate by working with R&D on process development and tools development.

●  Provide leadership for other engineers in the Hydroprocessing Catalyst & Technology Department.

●  Perform other duties as assigned by the Technology Manager.

 




 


Skills

  • Solid working proficiency in design and simulation/modeling with in-depth knowledge of unit operations and technologies found in refineries.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-motivated.
  • Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Positive and personable attitude.
  • Ability to motivate and train other engineers.
