Job Description

Our client in Miramar is looking for an Entry Level Aviation Repair Technician to perform maintenance, preventive maintenance and alteration tasks as directed and assigned in accordance with the applicable maintenance data to meet specific customer requirements and return components to airworthiness. Understand and follow policies and procedures.

Requirements:

Level I:
•A high School diploma, GED or technical school.
•A minimum of 0-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. (mechanical, hand tools experience preferred)
•Ability to read, write, understand and communicate English.
•Basic computer knowledge with ability to review online documents.
•Flexibility to work first, second, split or third shift and weekends is required.
•Ability to read, write, speak, understand and communicate English.
•Basic computer knowledge with ability to review online documents.
•Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of basic math skills.
•Basic knowledge with measuring tooling (micrometer, gages..) is required.
•Has experience, through training, knowledge, employment history or practical tests necessary to perform the scope of work assigned.
•Proficient in using the tools, equipment, and inspection aids applicable to the scope of work assigned.
•Understand the methods, techniques and practices outlined in the manufacturer's maintenance documents, Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, service letters, specifications, and other data acceptable to or approved by the FAA.
