Under minimal supervision, direct and coordinate the work of Biomedical Engineering Technicians who repair and maintain medical equipment and radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment, including safety testing, and routine maintenance and repair. Implement departmental related policies and procedures.

- Coordinate and direct Biomedical Engineering Technicians assigned to the Clinical Engineering department. Works in conjunction with superior to develop work standards. Establishes and implements equipment testing procedures.
What You Need to Be Successful
Education and Experience
- 1. Associate's degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology or a related discipline, or a commensurate combination of education and experience, is required.
- Five years of technical experience, performing clinical or biomedical equipment installation, testing and repair on (all types of medical and related) instrumentation In addition, one year lead worker or supervisory experience, overseeing the work of lower level maintenance workers is desired.
