GCS Chemical Engineering Supervisor
The GCS Chemical Team TR role is a leadership position over a team dedicated to comprehensive chemical equipment ownership and management. This includes daily operations, and capital project planning and execution.
Job Duties and Responsibilities to Include leading a team of engineers in the following:
l Leadership of an engineering team responsible for the comprehensive ownership of chemical supply systems and hardware, as well as capital project planning and execution
l Effective coordination, communication, and direction with a large embedded contractor utilized for equipment maintenance
l Effective communication and coordination with Fab Engineering (Cleans, CMP, Photo) to provide technical support, supply issue resolution, and overall collaboration for improved safety, quality, and system reliability
l Able to lead efforts for future scenario planning support including infrastructure budget and schedule forecasting, utilization and capacity data analysis, and reporting
l Drive continuous improvement projects to improve quality, productivity, and safety, while also reducing cost
l The candidate will need to be able to work effectively with multiple teams - both internal and external - to meet the requirements of GCS and SAS: Safety 1st, and then constant, reliable, high quality supply to production tools from GCS systems.
l BS degree in electrical, computer, mechanical or chemical engineering, or related technical field
l Minimum of 2 years of direct engineering leadership experience preferred
l Experience leading engineering teams dedicated to management of facilities or semiconductor production hardware in a 24/7, large scale manufacturing environment
l Strong technical background - with particular ability to understand, repair, and optimize chemical delivery hardware
l Excellent verbal and written communication skills
l Strong data analysis skills
l Ability to understand manufacturing/supply equipment and operations and directly relate and improve the corresponding systems related to them
l Strong presentation skills - including all related Microsoft Office applications
l Familiarity with chemical, Clean, Photo, or CMP systems is a plus - but not required
l Ability to work overtime / on non-scheduled days as required
