Responsibilities

Perspecta is seeking telecommunication engineers for a number of positions on contracts in the Northern Virginia area. Successful candidates are sought who have an understanding of end-to-and communications systems and architectures to include satellite, wireless and telephone communications. Knowledge of communication (data, control and management plane) protocols and processes, packet processing, circuit and digital switching, VPNs, mobile VPNs, authentication and C2S implementation is required. Systems engineering responsibilities include requirements development, design assessment, integration and test to include the development of test environments, technology forecasting, CONOP development, and systems engineering management.


Skills


- Requires Associates with at least 6 years of experience, or years of related experience in lieu of degree.

- Familiarity with Java, Python, Android is highly desired.

- Current TS/SCI with poly clearance

- Relevant certifications a plus

- Advanced degree a plus

- Demonstrated strong customer and partner relationship building skills.

- Work well in a team environment.
