Who are we looking for?

Qualifications/Requirements

- At least 5 years of experience working in water and wastewater treatment industry

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Technical Degree or equivalent

- Client relationship management and/or sales experience working with customers at various seniority levels from plant operations to corporate executives in Oil and Gas, Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Microelectronics, Power and/or Chemical Manufacturing markets

- Strong user knowledge of Salesforce, CIT, Excel, Word, Outlook and/or Power Point

- Ability to effectively present ideas and information through the spoken and written word

- Aptitudes and proven track record for facilitating cooperation within the organization and team building


The ideal candidate will be located in the North West US, however candidates from other locations will be considered.


Desired Characteristics

- Experience in the application of the principals of "Strategic Selling" (Miller Heiman)

- O&M, service, process or design experience in the Water and Wastewater treatment industry

- Previous experience developing and selling service and operations contracts

- Creative, collaborative and self-directed

- Strong listening skills


What will you be doing?

Build customer relationships and lead WTS commercial team to develop, negotiate and close service contracts that focus on risk transfer and customer value management including, but not limited to:

- Customer process audits

- Piloting

- O&M Contracts

- Service Agreements

Essential Responsibilities

- Create and manage a strategic growth plan that details sales strategies and regional, market and customer focus

- Prospect, identify and create partnerships with customers

- Identify client needs

- Build understanding of system operations, maintenance activities and service / support requirements

-Manage the entire sales process including lead generation, qualifying of opportunities, forecasting and closing deals

- Drive commercial and legal negotiations with support from legal, finance and HR

- Forecast and actively track sales and report historic success of these sales versus plan

- Coordinate / generate the development of proposals and quotations with the Client Asset Services COE

- Accurately define client benefits/KPIs, customer assets, service scope, key deliverables, and timing as required for the Proposals group

- Develop and maintain an advanced knowledge of all Suez WTS products and service offerings

- Foster a strong partnership with other Suez WTS commercial teams to maximize synergy with their accounts and growth initiatives.

- Will require >50% North American travel

- Function in this role with a high order of integrity and compliance with the Suez Ethical guidelines and Environmental Health & Safety guidelines
