The Senior Energy Engineer is responsible for technical oversight of all areas of the contract that deal with the energy calculations, standards, policies, or criteria. The Senior Energy Engineer must have demonstrated recent experience with Government or industry processes, procedures, standards, methodologies, or tools as relative to the assignment. The person shall have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in either mechanical or electrical engineering. The person shall have at least three (3) years of experience in facility energy modeling and have strong background in mathematical modeling. The Senior Energy Engineer must have a thorough background in DOD, Army and Federal Energy and Sustainability laws, policies, executive orders, regulations, instructions, and guidance. There shall be only one Senior Energy Engineer on this contract
- Candidate must have at least fifteen (15) years of experience in energy engineering (energy systems design, facility energy modeling, auditing, energy studies, commissioning, and validating and executing energy conservation projects).
- Candidate must possess one of the following: Professional Engineer (PE) license, Certified Energy Manager (CEM) certification, or a Master’s degree in an engineering discipline.
