Arconic FasteningSystems is looking for a Materials Technician III in our Shipping department. Performs more complex materials tasksinvolving the coordination of material flows throughout the finished goodswarehouse. Candidate will prioritize task and respond in a very fastenvironment. Has thorough knowledge of business enterprise systems in the areaof specialization. Identifies problems,determines root causes, and takes required corrective action to achieve a highlevel of inventory accuracy. Operates avariety of powered material handling equipment and performs manual tasks. May provide direction to lower-level technicians.Able to work independently without supervision. Materials Technician III willbe based in Tracy, CA.

Specific Responsibilities Include:
Performsall responsibilities of Material Tech I and Material Tech II
Routecustomer shipments via web, email, phone for carrier information using Arconic systemas well as customer systems
Prepareand process International paperwork including customs paperwork to ensure IMEXcompliance based upon country requirements
HandleRPL order transactions and movement within finished goods warehouse
Worksvery close with management to solve finished goods issues
Trainother operators as needed
Managesafety stock – complete replenishment order in BaaN, transfer locations asneeded.
Communicateseffectively and positively with all levels of personnel and customers
Maintainsfull compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts allactivities in accordance with the Arconic Guide to Business Conduct.
Performsall work activities in accordance with safety and environmental standards.
Performautomotive specialty shipments which could include:
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Highschool graduate or equivalent.
Minimumtwo years of experience performing work that has provided a good understandingof computerized materials management systems in a manufacturing environment
