Job Description

Outside Sales Representative - Construction Equipment Provider - $48k Base, $100k+ OTE. Portland, OR.

Our client, a leading provider of construction and forestry equipment, has a need for an Outside Sales Representative (internally titled "Territory Sales Manager") with a background in the industry. The company offers a “family" atmosphere where every employee is a valued member of the team and is treated as such! The TSM will cover Portland and surrounding counties. This is a remote position that offers plenty of support from the local branch and management. This is an established territory with great opportunities for additional growth.

Responsibilities: The TSM will call on large forestry companies, builders and developers as well as smaller general contractors. This role will maintain and grow current customer accounts as well as hunt for new business. The TSM will have to be willing to “turn over every rock" to find new business. Account Management and cold-calling are equally important in this role.


Compensation:
 There is a base salary of $48k + a lucrative commission package that is tiered to reward high sales numbers. The company also offers medical, dental and vision insurance, 401k and mileage reimbursement. Laptop, cellphone and iPad are provided to the TSM


Requirements:
 Experience selling heavy equipment in the forestry or construction markets is required. Candidates should have a hunting mentality and an ability to work effectively as part of a team.
