Our Client’s Performance Solutions Division is committed to delivering breakthrough performance solutions for customers' complex product and process challenges in several key markets and industries including: aerospace, automotive, mobile electronics, music, semiconductor, oil and gas, industrial and pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. As a leading supplier of products engineered to be used in demanding environments, they are looking for a dynamic Marketing Communications professional to join their team in Elkton, MD.

In this role, you will develop and execute integrated marketing communications strategies, plans and tactics across multiple channels, to support business objectives for the global Aerospace Market Team within their Performance Solutions Division (PSD). You’ll work in a fast-paced challenging environment, have the ability to manage many tasks simultaneously and resolve problems promptly. You must work independently as well as interdependently within the team. You’ll provide the expertise that ensures that the integrated marketing plans developed within the Aerospace Team are completed in a timely manner with high internal customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include:

  • Working with global and regional market team to conceptualize, recommend, develop, implement and communicate integrated marketing communication plans in support of business objectives and strategies
  • Developing a global marketing playbook as a means to align, communicate and coordinate marketing communications plans, activities and investments with key stakeholders
  • Being familiar with the civil air, military air and/or space segments of the aerospace market
  • Creating personas and customer journey maps to ensure thorough and consistent understanding of key customers and influencers in these segments
  • Optimizing the use of digital channels and social media for B-to-B marketing, including recommending, measuring and adjusting these tactics within the overall marketing mix
  • Collaborating with internal and external resources to develop tactical plans and drive them to completion (tactical areas could include online and offline advertising, public relations, channel marketing, website content, social media content, promotions, events, trade shows, videos and collateral)
  • Managing a multitude of projects within a team environment, leveraging external agencies and freelance contractors.
  • Consistently communicating project status to business leaders, team members and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders including marketing, sales, operations, product specialists, agencies and channel partners
  • Integrating and collaborating with PSD’s global marketing team members for purposes of sharing and learning of marketing concepts, techniques and standards based on best practices


Required Job Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in marketing or advertising)
  • OR equivalent business experience
  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in business-to-business marketing communications in North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific regions, preferably with technical products
  • Experience leading and developing email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • Experience with all marketing communications functions including digital content, advertising, public relations, online and off-line direct response, collateral, video production, trade shows and events
  • Demonstrated:
  • Skill in developing and activating integrated communications strategies, tactical projects/programs and promotional plans
  • Success in providing situational and team leadership, preferably across multiple locations
  • Success in marketing to the Aerospace industry; commitment to protect and enhance the client’s brand       in this market
  • Good judgment under pressure, with the ability and experience to work within a self-managed work team
  • Record of success in digital marketing
  • Ability to define metrics aligned with business objectives and track the performance of various online and offline marketing activities
  • Working knowledge of graphic and media files, online marketing and print production
  • Demonstrated ability to drive multiple concurrent projects to completion with quality, speed and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Windows-based PC and a solid working knowledge of standard Microsoft applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
  • Ability to:
  • Conceptually visualize, articulate and communicate concepts to internal clients as well as agencies, vendors, and suppliers
  • Contribute to the development product value propositions and translate these into marketing messages       for target audiences
  • Effectively brief and manage agencies and freelance contractors
  • Influence and integrate with local and global teams in diverse business roles
  • Travel globally approximately 10% of the time
