In 1983, SEAKR Engineering, Inc. was incorporated with the goal of using emerging solid-state technologies as an alternative data storage media for spacecraft memory systems. Through the years, we have established ourselves as the World’s leading supplier of Solid State Recorders for spacecraft and have continuously advanced the state-of-the-art in spacecraft memory and processing systems. More recently, we have leveraged our success and expertise in spacecraft SSR’s into wins for units including but not limited to; space-based data processors, command and data handling (C&DH) units, satellite communication avionics, power supplies and reconfigurable computers (RCC’s). SEAKR's technology advancements actually led to lower cost systems with expanded functionality. Furthermore, these advancements have become an enabling capability, which allowed remote sensing satellites to perform missions never before possible.
